Why we started Filters Faster.

We're two friends based in Hudson, MA who got tired of seeing people overpay for basic HVAC maintenance — and get stuck with preventable breakdowns when small jobs got skipped. So we built the service we wished our families had.

I grew up watching my parents pay through the nose every time their HVAC needed something. Most of the time it was something tiny — a filter that should've been swapped six months ago, a coil that hadn't been cleaned in years. The bill was never tiny though.

I started Filters Faster because the basics shouldn't be expensive, and they shouldn't be hard to remember. We take the small recurring stuff off your hands so the big breakdowns stop sneaking up on you.

I came to HVAC from a totally different angle — I spent years running operations for a logistics company and watched what bad scheduling does to a service business. Customers get bumped, techs get burnt out, and trust evaporates fast.

When [Your Name] pitched me on Filters Faster, what got me wasn't the air quality angle (though that matters). It was the chance to build a service business that actually keeps its word about when it'll show up. That's rarer than you'd think in this industry.

Our goal

Make preventive HVAC the boring background utility it should be.

We want every home and small business across MetroWest, Greater Boston, and Midcoast Maine to have a system that runs efficiently, fails predictably (when it finally does), and never costs more than it should. No mystery service calls, no upsells, no “while we're here” surprise charges. Just the basics, done well, on a schedule you can forget about.
